MEMRISE

Hi GeoBloggers! Today I wanto to write about a PC app for learning english and any other language. Its name is MEMRISE, you can find it in the link bellow
http://www.memrise.com/home/

I think Memrise it's a good app to learn english, it's a easy way to practice the language and you can try and try again, how many times as you want, it's a free app, you can enter thought your facebook account. About the methodology, I think that it's a good way to learn english, you learn by repetition: you repeat and repeat again and again and again until you can record the word in your head. Besides, the app make you write de word a lot of times, until you write it correctly.
I enjoyed a lot using the app, I learned a lot of words and how to say some phrases correctly. I chose the 3rd and 4th course and practiced a lot of words and phrases, like "how to say what time is it correctly" and the difference between some similars words, like fun, funny, etc.
I think is a very useful learning tool, because it's free, you can access it from any computer with internet, is not necesary to pay for a english classroom course if you can't pay it. You can practice how many times you want and it never will tell you "Stop, is enough for today. You can't practice more".
I want to envite everyone to take a look at the application. If you want to learn english, try it using this app. It's a free and funny way to learn english.

Regards geobloggers! See you next time!

Hi guys, today I will write about a classmate's blog. Teacher told me that I should  write about the classmate below to me in his list, my classmate is CAMILA BRIONES and her blog " English 3".

This is her blog, I realized that she loves green color. All her blog is green, hahaha, until letter. She put a lot of pictures and links in her posts, I like it. She has at the moment 16 posts and at least 50 photos and videos haha.I like her style.

I will write a review about her post: A special place in Santiago. This post have 321 words including title. I chose this blog because I like to read about natural places and outdoor activities.
I have a hill near my home to, so I feel identified.

"A special place in Santiago
Hello Geobloggers
In this publication I will write about my special place in Santiago, and it is the "Renca hill", this is the hill most high (WW,WO) of Santiago of Chile, it is located between Renca and Quilicura and it's 420 metres of height, its altitud is of (NN)905 metres above sea level and its surface is of  (NN)879,82 hectares. the main charasteristics of the Renca hill are: In its top it has a cross, in the middle has a giant poster that says: "Renca la lleva".and has native vegetation and native fauna. This hill is (WE) two streets of my house and I have to cross a highway through a footbridge for (WE) arrive to the Renca hill, but, in spite  being so close, it is always very deserted and because of this, it is considered a dangerous place, and I never approached to this hill until I was 16 years old, and started to exercising with my older brother, and together we started to climb the hill, jogging and running, five days to the week during one year; later my brother married and, since then, rarely I climb this hill. I really love this place, isn't the most beautiful hill, but it is surrounded by a highway and therefore the people don't go to the hill, and this cause a isolation situation, this is amazing! because you can feeling alone in middle of the city, in this hill you can see diverse vegetation and some flowers, especially in winter and spring when the Renca hill is completely green, and you can hear the sing of birds like "loica red chest", "humminbirg", among many others, also you can see rabbits and mouses; however, the most beautiful (WE)in this hill is (SM) reach the top and see the city in all directions, day and night the view is wonderful, definitely the "Renca hill" is my favourite place in Santiago. :D"

Londres and Paris street: A special place in Santiago

Hi blogheads! Today I would like to write about a special place in Santiago for me: Londres and Paris street. Its located in the central zone of Santiago, right by Alameda at the height of San Francisco de Asís church. Paris is a cross street to London, and both streets are characterized for its architecture and ornamentation to the European style, with narrow, cobblestones, winding streets and french lanterns. Both streets were designed by Ernesto Holzmann son and father. I like very much to go there becuse I feel like a 20's woman, with with long lace dresses and sun umbrellas hahah. I also feel as a successful French executive who likes to wander through the wet streets of Paris looking for a cafe where working with a cappuccino and her macbook. I like to play to personality change hahaha.
I go there so often, sometimes alone and sometimes with my best friend José, we like to sit on the benches and talk. I like this place because it is unlike anything I know.
It is like traveling back in time and go back to ancient times , it is always the saying " all past time was better" or is like traveling to another country without leaving Chile , is a crazy experience hahaha. that's one of my favorite places in santiago, you can imagine why now.

Here I will leave some pictures for you to know the place :)

                             First, the location in Google-Maps

And some pictures :)

A musical group I have seen

Hi guys!
I want to write about a musical group I have seen: De saloon.
De Saloon are a Chilean pop and rock band originally from the city of Concepción, Chile. They debuted in 1999 and became known mainly through the Chilean radios . In 2003 they released their self-titled first studio album. One year later, they released another album: Morder. Time after released "Abrázame" ,"Delicada violencia", "Fortaleza", and "Mar de nubes". I saw them in a free concert at the Youth Month organized by INJUV in August 2014, I went with my best friend Jose, my friend Amanda, Diego, and my cousine Fernanda and her boyfriend. It was a compound concert, played bands and soloists like Consuelo Schuster, Villa Cariño, Los Tetas, and -of course- De saloon. We sang and danced to the sound of the songs of Pierre Duhart. And at the last song, he invited his friend Claudio Valenzuela ( vocalist of Lucybell group, I love it too) to sing a song in duet. It was amazing, I almost cried with emotion hahaha. I love them with all my heart, they two are my favourite band after MAW (Men at Work). Duhart's songs are very sensitive, very special, very me hahahah.
I feel very identified with its music.

Me, Jose and Amanda at concert. :)
